Teri R. Maco RSA, CNSA

Tax Preparer, Accountant, Notary Public, and Small Business Specialist
Teri has over 30 years of executive experience in Accounting, Finance, and Management for both small businesses and the top 10 Fortune 100 companies. Before founding Maco & Associates, she successfully managed and automated both small and large corporate finance departments. She formerly served as Treasurer of the United Fund of Collegeville-Trappe, Inc and Treasurer of the Borough of Collegeville. She has also published numerous articles, including "The Cost of Complexity" and "The Capital Budget Pricing Model: Capital Budgeting Applications." She is approved as an Electronic Notary (e-notary) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as part of the Electronic Initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of State. Teri's tax specialty is small businesses and the resultant pass-through implications on individuals. Teri holds a Masters in Business Administration and significant post-Masters education.
Adam S. Maco

With eight years of customer service and sales experience, coupled with four years of accounting and tax experience, Adam has enhanced the business by expanding the bookkeeping, general accounting, and payroll practices. Adam's areas of expertise are bookkeeping and general accounting. He serves as a Virtual Controller for many small businesses. This experience, coupled with a degree in Psychology and Organizational Development (cum laude) from Alvernia College allows him to relate well to our clientele. His attention to detail makes him an outstanding asset to this business. Adam also manages several bookkeeping clients and is well versed in Quickbooks Pro. He is currently pursuing Quickbooks certification. Adam is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, and the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries.
Christopher A. Zerfass

Christopher is a junior Finance major at Temple University who consistently makes the Dean’s List. He has completed his VITA certification training (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counselor for the Elderly), and is certified by the IRS. He provides financial support to North East Drug Test Consultants, LLC in Nazareth, PA and also prepares blogs on technical issues. Further, he heads our Financial Aid Initiative for inbound college students.
Alex M. Maco
Junior Accountant
Alex is a 2010 Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Vassar College with a Mathematics Degree and Japanese correlate with general honors. He is beginning his training in the business world by working for Adam Maco, and will be handling specific business accounts while he pursues graduate education paths. He will be assigned specific client accounts, and we are excited to have someone of his intellectual capacity join us.
Heather Smith
Marketing Advisor / Webmaster
Heather has over five years of experience in marketing a wide range of companies, including healthcare, IT, finance, manufacturing, and software organizations. She has a B.A. in Film/Video and a B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State. Heather provides guidance, web design, and graphic design for our marketing programs.
